There are multiple meanings behind our name.
Knocking down doors not only signifies our trade (construction) but also our belief of having no barriers between clients and designers as we believe an open communication can help us to understand our clients better. The act of knocking on doors also symbolises that there are endless opportunities that awaits and that there are no restrictions to what lies ahead.

how it all started

“Life is short” — As cliche as it sounds, we know it is true. As uncertain as tomorrow may be, there will never be a right time to do something. And no amount of preparation will lead to success if you do not take the leap. So with these in mind coupled with some stimulating personal life experiences, Knock Knock Studio is birthed.

“I believe that when a space is designed correctly, it will improve a person’s quality of life. It will cause less frustration, it will then improve a relationship. When the relationship is good, their kids will be happy kids because parents do influence their kids. When you’re feeling good at home, you will bring this positive energy to work. You will influence your colleagues too. It’s a chain.”

”I believe the kitchen is a very important part of home, I saw an interesting phrase about kitchen. “It is where promise of actions are made without a word spoken.” When a kitchen design is done right, naturally you will want to put nicer food on the table because you are motivated to learn how to cook. Or you probably will plan to cook together with your loved ones when the new kitchen is ready. Can you imagine how lovely it’d be if that happens? When a space serves its purpose and the users feel good about it, it is designed right.”

“As long as the space is filled with relatable stuff that you love, doesn’t matter if no one loves it, if it makes you happy, it is a home.”
